yes, that's how i patched cannibal's eldo, just on one side. i think i did even use the iron and spoon trick too. i've done it in the past without any heat and just rubbed it hard with my fingers and that seems to work fine too. the bond gets stronger with time as well. c3 is fantastic stuff.
