    Underquilts.com Top quilt finished

Just finished my Top quilt from Underquilts.com.

I have to thank Dave for the awesome customer service. The first quilt he sent was lost thanks to the post office and he overnighted a replacement. I'm seeing another in my future for a 3 season quilt.

His stitching was of course excellent. Stuffed it with 16oz of 850 down from WL sewed it shut and sewed up the footbox. Can't wait to take this thing out for a good warm sleep.

Weight in my dry/compression sack was 1lb 12.4 oz. I'm seeing another in my future for a 3 season quilt.

As soon as finances permit, I'm going to have to order mine.

What temps does that stuffing get you 20*?
Live, Laugh, Love, if that doesn't work. Load, Aim and Fire, repeat as necessary...

According to the site I'm a little short of 0+-10* by about an ounce. I'm going to say probably 20*-15*. But he states on his site that his ratings are conservative. I'll say 20 should be a definite.

Good to hear you like it. I have a custom under and top quilt on the way. Should be ready for pick up at the border by the weekend.

Thanks for the nice review, Ejimo. I'm still mad at the post office.

Ha! Should be there now. That bag was stuffed full of giant quilts with a minus 50 degree rating. 6 inch baffles! Here's a picture of the UQ being made.

I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."
