    Disappointment.

The tarps are 6'x8' diamond shape. Too short for use with a hammock I'm afraid. Now I am trying to see if I can salvage them by piecing together two, but haven't figured out the best way to cut them apart to reconfigure. Any one got any ideas? The material seems to be decent enough to make it worth it. I bought 5.

Is it a symmetrical diamond? If so, you can probably cut one in half so that you have two short sides and then sew each piece to a separate whole tarp to make an asymmetrical diamond (a parallelogram) like the Hennessy tarps. It'll require some practice to use properly, buut...

Anyway, it's a thought. I'd recommend doing a couple of scale models with scrap paper first, just to work out any kinks in the process before actually cutting (possibly usable) whole tarps.
