Question about cat cut tarps

Will the 4 season cuben tarp w/ cat. cut ridgeline hang as well with a continuous ridgeline running under it?

Would it hang better with continuous ridgeline running over it or two piece ridgeline?

MY thinking is that the continuous ridgeline underneath, might interfere with the lay of the cat. cut.

I think for a cat cut RL it would be better to have it be over rather than under. Unless you actually hung a slack RL, then your RL would be catenary too, but they prolly wouldn't match. So I'm back to my original answer of running the RL over the tarp.

I run mine under the tarp and hang a bag from it that allows a space between the ridge line and the tarp allowing the cat cut ridge to work. If I didn't need the ridge line like that I would run it over.
