    Ridge line

I would like to use the hammock as a chair but find the ridge line is in the way. I am considering cutting and adding a dutchware carabiner. Has anyone tried this or have a suggestion?

I've considered making the ridgeline disconnectable as well. Interested in replies.

I have a biner on my Snipe's ridgeline for just this purpose.

    Ridge line

Dutch's titanium ridgeline biners were invented for this very purpose. Who can say "No" to titanium?

+1 on Loki's reply. Lounging in my Snipe is one of the world's best pleasures. I use one of Stuart's "Adjustable Structural Ridgelines" with some Dutch bling....viola! Instant recliner with no ducking.

Has anyone installed this on an HH? If so, where do you locate the biner? At one end or in the middle? thanks

I put them on all my HH and i put them about 4 inches from the head. That way I can attach a string to my pollow and if I disconnect it the long piece dangles out the bottom slit of over the side depending on the model

    Dutch,
Looked through your gallery hoping to find a picture of that mod. Could you post a couple, please?
    Thanks,
