    Backyard Testing

Spend 2 nights Testing out some of our gear. Was hoping for colder temps but only got down to 45 degrees with no wind. Second night it rained alot so at least we got to verify tarps still have no leaks.

It was my friends first time hanging pretty much and he said he slept better in the hammock than in his own bed.

Tested out my DIY hammock sock but no real winds to put it to the test so maybe next time. Was a good 2 nights in the side yard.

My friend and his DIY hammock sitting at the fire.

Two nights in the backyard testing beats one night working any time.

I guess your sock has a slot in the bottom if so did you marry Velcro between the two.

    Thanks,
I only have few acres of land to be honest. I lucked out and have about an acre of forest and an acre of bamboo and about an acre of just yard regular space. Its backed up to a tidal creek which is nice views but the drawback is my house floods during Nor-Eastern storms and hurricanes. Its a wonderful property to live on but it has a price to pay along with it. Have to run propane powered machines all summer to keep mosquitoes at bay and its a weekly chore to keep the yard clear of debris and bamboo confined. Not to mention the VA creeper and Greenbriar thorn vines are all over the yard trying to take it over. I'm sure I sound silly at this point for complaining. lol...Have had a great time playing in it over the years.
