I believe there is a West Marine on Capitol Blvd. in Raleigh, but I buy my stuff from them off the internet, over $49 ships free.
Yeah, I tried them over the weekend. They don't carry it in the store - only online.
Any West Marine you can have them order what you need and ship for free to the store.
West Marine is the cheapest source I could find but according to the email I received this morning 7/64 is back ordered until April 12. I think Redding may be worth checking out.

No where locally carries Amsteel that I've ever found. You can order from Redden and use the discount code "HammockForums" for 5% off even with delivery it comes out cheaper than West Marine charges, even for delivery to store.

The local west marine here in Nashville started stocking 7/64 after so many hammock users requested it. Before that I ordered online and had it shipped to the store for free.

I haven't purchased from them, but they were very familiar with amsteel when I called.
A bit of a hijack, but I didn't want to start a whole new thread.
Any idea where/if I can get 7/64" or 1/8" Amsteel shipped to New Zealand? I'm having trouble finding anything with similar specs locally.
