    table cloth bridge?

just a quick question----has any one made a bridge hammock using a table cloth from tablecloths factory? If so, did you use webbing on the edges? Also, how did it hold up?(any stress where the webbing is sewn on?)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I have made 2 bridge hammocks from the polyester crinkle taffeta. I used 1/2" webbing for the edges. So far it is holding up great, no issues with the stitching (other than they aren't the straightest). There are no apparent stress issues with the webbing. I only have about 10 nights of use on them. so we will see how they hold up after more use.

    Cheers

Whaaaaat. That is a great idea...I kind of want to do this now.

Did you follow the regular bridge instructions from Grizz?

That is exactly what I did. I followed Grizz's videos on how to make a Grizz bridge. However I made mine such that the head and foot end are the same width (fabric and spreader bar).
