I could probably make it this sunday
I'm in for Sunday at 1pm. I'll swing by the park on my way home and pick a more specific location.
We'll setup another meet on April 28th in another thread!

Do you want to bbq. If so what should I bring.
Food: I'll bring BBQ, Charcoal, fire...
Carne Asada, tortillas, salsa, cheese...
Drinks?
Paper plates?
Napkins?
How many are showing up? Just looks like the three of us... if it's just us, maybe it's easier to just bring a lunch with you... Not that I mind firing up the BBQ...
Thoughts?
Location:
Harry Griffin Park La mesa, CA

Once you enter the park, drive about 100 yards, and the road turns left. On your right is a picnic area with tables, BBQ's, etc. and some nice trees.
I'll be there around noon, and look for a spot. It's a busy weekend destination, so parking could be tight... Look for the hammock!
BTW: Could anybody use a free DIY 2x4 construction portable hammock stand that probably needs a little TLC? I have no use for it, and it's inviting termites.
If there's interest, I built a turtledog stand, but I won't carry it unless somebody wants to see it.

I think there's only a few of us.. I am good with anything...

Hope you guys had fun today! I was up near Cuyamaca at the Pica Picacho Campground. I scouted out a few different campsites where it might be good to hang a hammock. I'm new to hammock camping so it was a fun trip. There are quite a few nice places to hang here.

Be careful there and talk to the rangers. I believe the campground has a written "don't tie anything to trees" policy...
It was fun to hangout and eat lunch, checked out my diy hammock, a ridgerunner, and a DD hammock.
