    Woo Hoo! Did something right!

    So I took my son(he's 11) winter hammocking in January and it was a COLD one (-27șC) https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...0&postcount=35

    Frozen boots and cold feet in the morning - but ...........

    last night he asked "Can we go camping before winter is over?"

    I'm working on the same goal with my boy and my girl. Using the slow sell right now but being able to bring his friends later to show off the new bushcraft skills he is learning is about to eat him alive.

    I'm lucky that both my kids have been camping since they were infants
    My son went to a hammock last year - my daughter (13) still prefers the comfort of our tent ( it's 17' x 19' with 2 rooms and a built in doghouse ) pretty much a small cottage.

    she's saying she might want to try the hammock this summer
