    I probably should add that I weigh about 140lbs... At 225lbs you may have a different experience.

    You'll see many people recommend a safety factor for weight ratings. I am comfortable with a factor of 4x my body weight to account for dynamic forces on the hammock. Some prefer a higher safety factor but it's what you are comfortable with. Personally I would not use anything that was rated for less than a 1000lbs.
