Hey everyone, long-time lurker and first-time poster here! Thanks to many DIY guides here on HF, I recently made a 48"x80" down top quilt with Momentum 50. I opted for a drawcord closure and plastic snaps rather than a sewn footbox.

I'm perplexed about what to do with the 4 feet of dangling shock cord when the footbox is closed. I've been hanking it but I keep waking up with the cord wrapped around my ankles!

I'd love to do away with the cord altogether and find another way to close the footbox. I've considered plastic snaps along the foot end but I doubt they would close the footbox as tightly as the drawcord method. I've also thought of simply gathering and lightly whipping the end of the quilt when I want a footbox. Any other ideas?
