Welcome from St Augustine, FL. Great source of info here
Got a chance to go out to Hitchcock Nature center friday after work and help a friend do a test setup of his new hammock gear. thanks for letting me know about this place, it seems beautiful! I will be doing some hammocking and hiking gear testing here once my hammock comes in the mail. Thanks again!
Welcome from Elkhorn. (I refuse to say west Omaha!)
Ponca State Park is about 2.5 hours north and is kind of like Indian Caves. I was just there Wed and Thur this past week.
Here is a link to a video I did there in the winter a while back (not last week.)

Welcome from another Nebraskan. Im from Norfolk NE. I go to Indian Cave SP every spring and fall. Great place to hang. Best advice I have for a noob is save your penny's cause when the hammock fever hits (and it will) be prepared to get all sorts of cool new gear. Well that is if the wife lets you.
(Oh hi honey. What do you mean I cant spend our daughters college tuition on a cuben fiber tarp of every shape and size)
All joking aside. Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of knowledge here and awesome folks. Welcome to floating in the woods. You will never sleep on the ground in a tent again.
