Women-specific pack, 65l capacity.

Used pack, in excellent condition. Used on one backpacking trip. Stored inside. One dog in the house.

Pack is model year 2009, shoulder harness and heat-moldable hip belt BRAND NEW 2012.
This is important: the belt, even without the heat molding process, will form to your shape with wear. You are getting an UNUSED belt.
Osprey customer service has confirmed that Ariel packs and belts/harness from 2009-2012 are completely compatible.

Pack size Medium and harness/belt women's large.

All zippers and buckles in good working order.

Pack buckles black, new harness system buckles gray.

This pack has a great system of compression straps, inside and outside the body of the pack, allowing a much smaller load without your stuff bouncing around and shifting.
Right: three straps on front of pack
Top left: back to front exterior compression
Bottom left: sleeping bag compartment compression

There is also a hard-to-describe interior compression that will hold any size load firmly to the back of the pack.

Interior hydration sleeve and ports on both sides.

Removable soft divider for sleeping bag compartment.
Key clip in top lid of pack.

This pack is a top loader for the main compartment: no front access. Separate front entry for the sleeping bag section.
Large stretch front pocket

The lid/top compartment of the pack can be removed from the pack and used - with the backpack hip belt - as a fanny pack.
Bottom of lid showing sleeve for attaching hipbelt for fanny pack use.

The stretch mesh waterbottle pockets have two openings to allow access while wearing the pack.

Slight traces of pine sap present on bottom of pack. Otherwise very clean.

Weighs about 4 1/2 pounds on my antique fish scale.
