    Oh, darn shame.
Hmm, maybe cut the bottom piece in the centre and make a short connector and a long connector?
I need to get one and have a play.

I am curious about the box dimensions. Anyone able to give approximate dimensions of the box as purchased please? I drive a Scion XB and am short on cargo space lol.

    Thanks, Brian P.

A muffler shop should be able to bend and make a piece to fit into the bottom tube as an extender. The have the ability to shrink and or expand pipe, plus they can make it from stainless.

Hey Padovini, here is a shot of the box. It's 52 in X 13 in.

Thanks Mike. I did not have to worry about the box size because after I drove 2 and a half hours to ikea, they were sold out. I told the guy I was not leaving without one, and he disassembled the floor model for me. I was able to position the tubes however I needed to get them in the car.

Now I don't get to assemble it until Thursday night. That's my first night in a apartment away from my family. I will report back with how it works out for me.

    Thanks, Brian P.

yeah at the store. very tippy. there is a rigid seam goin down the middle that makes it very stiff. i didnt get the impression it would be good for lounging.
