    Camper XL

I set up the Camper XL and was just going to lounge in it for a few min. I ended up falling asleep and took a 2 hour nap. I think the Camper XL will find its way into my pack for my next trip.

    ?????

If the objective was lounging, and the result was a 2 hour nap, how could that be anything but highly productive????

I love mine. I try to hang in it a couple of times a week. Pure relaxation.

    Camper XL

How tall are you using they XL? In trying to decide between the camper and the XL. I'm 5'9 and only really have experience with a bed sheet hammock. Don't know it's width but I love the fact that I can wrap the sides over me and cocoon myself. Do any of you use the XL for camping and ever find the sides to be too large? Weight is not an issue as it will be used for cycle tours. Also how small does t pack down to?

Man you can cocoon yourself ib the XL with no problems. I am only 5'7" but love the wider hammocks because I can lay on my sides and still be flat...

Get the Knotty Mod with it...

    It packs down pretty good..

Appreciate your pm and reply to this post. Another question I have. Could you go into a little more detail on knottymod?

I will give it a shot but won't promise that it will be clear...
It is when they add a length of shock cord on the head end and foot ends of the hammock. The are on the opposite sides of each other on the outside hem of the hammock. You can adjust them where it pulls the slack out of the sides of the hammock and forms a pocket like area at your foot end and head end of the hammock. It also helps to hold your TQ and pillows in your hammock when you get in and out..
I will throw the XL back up to take pics to better explain what I mean...

This what it normally looks like with just a sleeping bag

    Knotty Mod

Here is the XL with the knotty mod cinched up with just the sleeping bag

It forms a pocket like area to help you get into the sweet spot..
