...but it is really discouraged to discuss where you can buy things cheaper when someone is trying to sell something. just be privately happy that you found a good deal instead. 73

I am sorry, It was not meant to be rude. My line of thougt was wow that is twice what I paid. Here are two places where I have seen them for less so maybe the OP and anyone else could check it out. Did not know they were hard to find in some areas of the country or that they were higher in other areas either. Honestly is was meant in good inntentinons.

I agree with mike on this. Yes, we don't need "price police", but 2x what they are selling for???

Now back to our regularly scheduled hanging...(hammock hanging, that is).

Read Rule 9 in the Sticky:

9. Do not play "price police" and make a public post in another member's thread about where a product can be found at a lower price. A simple Private Message to the seller may be helpful, though.

I had someone the other day suggest my gear was purchased from a Thrift Store.

The moderators have put these rules in place for a reason. They also state,
Guidelines -
1. Use thoughtful caution when purchasing. Consider how long has the member been on the forum, and the amount of the transaction.

IOW, Buyer Beware. Everyone should do their own homework.

Was not calling you a crook. I was telling you of two places where you or anyone else can usally find them for less. It was a tip. If I bought something for 23 bucks and someone told me where to buy it for 14 I would thank them returm my 23 set and buy a 14 dollar set. Like you said no good deed goes un punished.

IMUSA pots are hard to come by as well.

people give them away as PIF's over there for where regional sales are not so hot where they live.
