    Item withdrawn

Upon further inspection of the hammock, I see that the fabric is becomming stressed at the sitching at the channel end. I cannot sell this hammock knowing that there is a defect in it.

I don't really understand how this happened, I am under the weight limit of the hammock and only used it once. Will send it back to BIAS for analysis.

    So sorry,

    S

This happened to mine as well after a five minute lay when I first purchased mine. I got a replacement in a dl, but still use my wwm sl and just whipped it. Great hammock, my favorite one, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another from Brian... Too bad you withdrew it and I feel for Weil after already claiming it...

I think it's the acu ripstop fabric. Not from Bias but I have 3 diys that are the same way. The acu material is pretty loose stitched. I have been using one for over a year that has been "stressed" from the first hang. I have about 30-40 nights on it with no worries at all. I also have weighed over 200 for the majority of the year. Brian is a cool guy (I actually have a weight weenie from him) and I'm sure he will fix or replace it but for anyone who has ran into the same problem I wouldn't worry over it. Also I want to add my diys are stiched the same way as my weight weenie is and my 1.1 ripstop diys are not stressed so that is why I think its the material. And furthermore one of my hammocks belong to a 170lb fella and his is the same way. But good on you for making sure everything is right before you sell! Not trying to hijack but that has been my experience with the acu fabric and I still trust it 100%.

Thanks for the input Jason. We have had a few (not many at all) with the same issue. I think I've narrowed it down to a couple of batches of fabric. It looks like most if not all were around the same time frame.
