I put whoopie slings on my HH. Mostly because 2 are for my kids and I have to put them all up. The WS make it much faster set up, reduces weight by about 3 oz and makes it slightly smaller and more compact.

After using Whoopies on another hammock, I switched to them on my HH
+2 on this concept. I quickly replaced my HH suspension with the Whoopie All-in-One suspension - really like the ease of this, but it doesn't allow you to remove a wet suspension.
I just ordered the continuous loops, dutch hooks, whoopies, and dutch clip. 6 ft huggers with 6 ft whoopies. This will be my new "go to" suspension.
I just added whoopies to my explorer and set up is much quicker.
I'm hoping that rain will just run down the extra slack that hangs from the whoopie.

When i had my HH it was 'biners and rings set up all the way! Added a little weight doing it that way but it was worth it to me. Actually thought about converting my wbbb to a conventional HH set up because i miss the biner and rings.... super quick, super easy and no mods needed.
Stock rope with soft home made vectran biners and rappel rings for me. I do lots of dyneema splicing and tapering on my sailing dinghy and may get around to it eventually on the hammock
I'm still using the stock setup but I'm thinking about finding something easier to set up. I know te bag says set up in 2 mins, but I take 6 or 7 because I never can get the hammock just right. I am trying to figure out if I want to change up my setup. Can we get some pictures of setups???
Dutch buckles and whoopies on all of ours. The boys can set them up on their own now.
Chase your dreams without fear or hesitation!
Whoopies are the way to go for me. Tree distance becomes a little less of an issue and it is quick and easy to set up and adjust.
