ENO in the apt?! I think so!

I bought the eno hanging kit from Rei for $10. It has held me(215lbs) and my son(40lbs). And when you take the hammock down it doesn't look bad at all.

Although not the most elegant solution... Attach a 2x4 running horizontally across 3-5 studs and hang from the 2x4 it will spread the forces out over a greater area... Maybe put a shelf on top of the 2x4 so it looks a little more purposeful...

I got a laugh reading this.
I've been dieing to hang my hammock. Unfortunately the only two trees suitable to hang from are behind the garage.

I however have been eyeing bottom of the floor joices in our basement. I've got tons of space down there to play with.
Alternatively, I'd have to make a free standing stand as I can't reach the 12ft ceilings in the rest of the house, and most of our bedrooms are too wide to run lines to the walls.
