    Claytor Mosquito Netting

Anybody own a Claytor Mosquito hammock?

I am comparing it to the Expedition. The difference is that the Mosquito doesn't have pockets, is a light green, and has a tan netting. The netting may be difficult to see through.

My question is, how difficult is it to see through the hammock netting and would it be ok for a 5yr old? Thanks.

I don't think my 5yr old will car much about the color or pockets. I'd have to figure out a way to hang his flashlight though. Maybe just sew a loop in it like I did with my Jungle Hammock.

My plan is to rig up some way to hang both hammocks under the same tarp, so my son can be within arms reach.

    Thanks.

Yep it works... Somewhere here is a photo of my son and I on a campout last weekend. We did the bunk bed thing under one tarp. Peace
Why didn't someone tell me sooner? I don't HAVE to sleep on the ground!

Keep in mind the Jungle has black netting while the Mosquito has white netting. The white netting is a bit harder to see through than the black.

Thanks for the posts. I decided to get one for him. I am certain he will like it better than the HH Exped.

I just got the hammock in the mail, and tried it out. It feels, and looks great. Sooooo comfy.
