    Any thoughts on this tarp?

You should be able to find a great deal here. A great size with nice door option. Really able to batten down in poor weather or winter.

Look at the 'Tarp' section on people's little gear list to the left of their post as you browse... Few things are as ubiquitous as the Superfly. I'd say the Blackbird is a close second. I don't think you'll find anyone on here that will speak an ill word about either.

Love my Superfly. Pitches tight every time and has more space than I know what to do with. Last time out I pitched the Superfly first and hung my hammock from inside it, then packed up everything including the hammock from within when it was time to leave and took it down last. Awesome.

Love mine... The new camo pattern is awesome... Mine hasn't seen the woods yet. But it has seen the back yard for almost a week of nights...

I'll add my newb comment to another newb... From my time searching and playing around this forum I'd say the Superfly is easily the most highly touted tarp talked around here.

I just hope that because of this thread talking about it won't drive the price up....

If the price was in relation to people's opinions here I would not have been able to afford one.

As far as I'm concerned the Superfly is one of those purchases you just can't regret. Even if you don't like it you really only stand to lose shipping; the resale value is basically 100%.

Great tarp. Maybe the only downside would be weight - if you wanted to go UL, you could pick something smaller.
With that said, though, I'd find other place to drop the weight than this tarp.
