I have an old Coleman sleeping bag. It's pretty heavy and not very tight fitting but I think it would work great as an all around bag. Its probably only like a 40-50 degree bag. My plan is to make a small hole in the bottom to thread the hammock suspension through and then I would just slip into the sleeping bag and pull it up on myself. How well would this work as insulation for camping? I live in Maryland and like to camp from about April to October.
