Yes to all of the above!!
Yes to all of the above!!
I don't even have any friends. Of course I am usually too busy for friends anyway.
I think I like the above concept, I have been pondering such thoughts lately. My aunt died, she was they type of person that was always the first to offer her hand in friendship or to help someone. She was always very social, she lived to be almost 90. I found it so sad, at her funeral there was only her children, two grandchildren, myself and my daughter. Such a sad turnout for such a wonderful giving person.
Anyway, enough of that subject. I thought Hammock Forums worker bee's just went through and cleaned out the no longer active members and stale email addresses.
I like the idea of my name living on, through this site...
I initially thought the friend requesting was for folks you had pressed palms with........hey Sean, you still got my Bill Cosby 8-track?

When I open a new tab in my browser, Hammock Forums is the first, most visited site that pops up. I may have a low post count, but I am on this site everyday, throughout the day. No earth shattering ideas from me, but I have soaked up SO much info. While my wife doesn't hang with me, she thinks it's cool I've discovered and am still learning so much. She thinks I'm dreamy.
I've met some of you more well-known members at the one hang I've been to (Ozark Hang '13. I was the quiet guy with an extra pair of shoes for Lucky ). A welcome spot was quickly made for me around the fire. That's what's cool about this place. I was some random dude from the internet, but had instant camaraderie with everyone there. Geez, I love this place.

I lost the internet at my house, so I don't post as often. But you still can PM me and I will get back to you in time.
Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course.

I think ya'll are the bees knees. I'd love to be able to do more group hangs, and what not.
Speaking of group hangs and what not. there is a trail in southern Illinois that I would love to do sometime. It is the river to river trail. It passes through some beautiful country.
