    Ciao from Italy

    Hi All
I am new on HF, I am from Italy and own a couple of hammocks with tarp from one year now. I could make little experience yet, and planning to use it more and more. My main use is in the wood areas while treking or travelling with my wife wherever we can hung them...
My main concerns at the moment are:
-how to keep warm on cold days with unexpensive, LIGHT & SMALL solutions
-very quick and unintrusive (for the tree) suspension methods for both hammock and tarp

I am sure I will find many good tips on this forum!!

    Ciao, Riccardo

Welcome to the forum Riccardo. The combination of light small and inexpensive is going to be more difficult to achieve, but can be done. Lightweight and small equals down (feathers, plumas) . Many vendors on this forum have excellent products and everyone has good reviews. If you have desire, you can make your own equipment. Many have done it and will be glad to help you. Lightweight and inexpensive depend on your needs and wallet. A good site is www.theultimatehang.com. Go to the menu and select manufacturers. This is one of the friendliest places to visit and ask questions. Good luck and good hanging.
