hammock without tree`s? Can u tell iam a newbie

    Hi All
    Appoligies!!!

Been searching the forum for hammocking withour trees.
Have come accross nothing as yet.
When we do an open canadian canoe trip this year down the Wye valley, I am not 100% sure we`ll be able to hammock camp and may need to take our two man tent :-(
Question, Is there any alternative to trees?
I would much prefer to have a go at hammocking
    Cheers all
    Bill

Hi Bill, Trees should not be a problem along the Wye depending on the stretch you intend to cover. Byecross farm campsite is based in an orchard and they are pretty good folk there. Mainstream campsites (pricier ones may be tricky for hammocks)
Take both tent and hammock and mix and match, after all the canoe carries the load!
