Editing? You don't need no stinking editing, looks great the way it is! Do you ever miss having a knife while out there?

Whooooo Buddy......breaking trail and panting. That is winter backpacking.
    It is tough for sure.
Noticed the posting was by someone else rather than you....kinda threw me.
Reckon this crew was eager for more snow adventure.

Good question. I'm curious if you missed having a knife. The videos of your trip are outstanding. It looks like a great adventure but very difficult slogging through all that snow, not to mention the cold temperature and other conditions. Very impressive effort and accomplishment. As others have said, I'm glad Tala is doing well. Nice work!
Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity.

I've never missed having a knife out there and have gone weeks on the trail without ever even needing to use one. I did miss having a pair of scissors though as they come in handy.

Yeah, that was a pain in the butt. More mentally than physically as I'm sure you know.

Every time I hit a state park the trail was nice and packed and just made me smile. Also, the snow was insanely packed going up to Section 13 too. There was a car at the trail head, but I never saw anyone there. I would've loved the conversation.

I'm hiked hundreds of miles on the SHT and never needed a knife. The saw was a smart move IMO and it really helped a lot with this trip.

The mental part was by far the hardest thing about this trip and not having Tala would have made things even worse. I was very happy to have my pup along and she did well to make this a fun romp in the woods.
