    Wal Mart Down

I meant 30 Each. I have a friend of mine that has been testing one out the last few weeks. It has a few "weak" baffles but for the most part. He has done well in it from 25-35 degrees.

1lb 5ozs = 21 ozs,,,,,1lb 7 oz = 23 ozs..I bet you can shave a few ozs off making it into a TQ or even a UQ by removing the zipper, and this and that,,and have a very nice quilt alot lighter than the above weights..give you a few weights of some of the quilts me and the wife use.

    20 degree Lynx w 1 ozUQ 18 oz.
40 degree UGO UQ 19.4 oz.
50 deg. Jarbridge UQ Modified 10.8 oz
25.9 oz 20 down UGO UQ
14 oz 50 deg Jarbridge UQ
20 oz 30 deg Jarbidge UQ

    TQ’s
40 degree Golite TQ 21 oz
50 degree UGO TQ 14.6 oz
20 degree UGO TQ 2 oz extra down 25 oz
22 oz UGO 20 deg TQ
15.5 oz UGO TQ 40 degree sewed thru
16.5 oz 50 degree TQ snythetic Big Agnes Sleeping bag the wife loves to use for summer. Modified without zipper or draft collar.

This would definitely make a very good light quilt for mid season plus extra clothing down to maybe 35 or maybe 40 degrees for sure..go for it, and show us some pics of the finished quilts. At that price your good to go.

Sitting here reading hf is an easy way to be influenced to buy things you are just interested in checking out. Also you do not have to get out of your chair. I read enough positive feedback on the walmart down bag to check walmart web site. I am supposed to be able to go to my local store today and pick it up. Man this is too easy. I will get to check it out next week at burrells ford. High temps as projected to be in the 50's.

    walmart down sleepingbag

Disappointment comes quickly sometimes. Email from walmart cancelling my order for the bag. It stated my local store did not have one, but 1 hour before I READ THE MESSAGE I HELD SAID SLEEPING BAG IN MY HANDS. I will go back to the store and ask why I could not have that one @ $69.95. If they have a good answer I guess I will pay the $79.95. I am committed at this point.
