With the advent of Google Earth it would be nice to be able to attach .kmz file types. kmz is Google Earth file format for gps waypoints and routes. I have a garmin .gdb file of a hike route that I converted to a .kmz file to view in Google Earth but I cannot attach it since it is not one of the allowed file type. In my opinion Google Earth is a fantastic program for hikers to share gps routes.
