Question CCF pad on Ebay: experienced thoughts welcome

I found this CCF pad on eBay and wanted to get some opinions on it. I've contacted the seller and should hear back within a day, but I figured I'd also take advantage of the wisdom of HF users.

I'm looking to use this as bottom insulation in a WBBB, double layer 1.1.

It seems like the brand/model name is HiDense, which sounds promising. I'm unsure as to whether its designation as "upholstery foam" is an issue.

So please, let me know, at glance, if it looks like it might be worth it.

I may be wrong, but I think this is going to be harder (perhaps very hard) than typical camping CCF. I'm thinking rubber-like feel.

Probably heavy, too. I'd pass, unless someone chimes in w/weight, experience, etc.

You can find Volara CCF foam on ebay - it's been used a good bit in hammocks, with good results.

Volara, I have seen that brand name bandied about. I'll check it out.

    EDIT:

So something like this might be a better idea?

    UPDATE:

The seller responded and stated that it weighs less than a pound. I'm asking him for a more detailed measurement and also to provide me with the density of the material to get a better idea.

volara is the fine grained light pad you sometimes get from Walmart. I think it was developed for packaging and use as a sound barrier under floors. Nice stuff with a hammock but not so good as a pad o the ground. Basically it conforms well but does not cushion a lot.
    YMMV

Have you tried the walmart ccf pad? (the blue pad) really cheap, and works resonably well-------most walmarts have them in the camping section
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.
