Well ever since MAHHA I have been jones'ing for a thunderbird.. I laid in his new 2.6 acu poly blend at the hang and loved the feel of it. It was a bit on the heavy side and kept waffling on the material - poly, nylon, poly, nylon... PapaSmurf then found a new poly taffeta that is 1.85 oz. so I asked him to sign me up for the first one. He tested the fabric by making a simple gathered end and spending a few nights in it and liked the fabric. It was just the compromise in weight and material I was looking for, and with all the Tbird amenities. He hopes to ship it this weekend.

Please ignore my last post. Apparently I shouldn't post before bed.. The weather so far is only mid 70s for the days and 50s at night.

I like this forecast better. Sounds perfect for campfires and smores for the kids!

Still going to be warmer than January. We survived that with no problems and had a great time.

Still gonna be warmer than last weekend, and dryer too!!!
Nicky will be coming late. She got slated to work, but has Monday off (I dont know what happened, she had Friday off until today...). I will be there, probably around noonish. I will have the 2 burner propane stove too. I am making her set her own gear up, but I will be well set up by the time she gets there. I dont know who is arriving when, but I will see everyone next weekend!
