My family and I are planning on heading to Southern California sometime soon, and would like to know if there is some family friendly areas to hang a hammock near or on the beach - just for relaxing, and not for camping. We would like to be close to the beach and let the kids play, while I get some R&R.
Range is probably Newport Beach and south to San Deigo - the question is trees in the area.
