Welcome infected Nashville noobie! We do a lot of hammock backpacking out of the Nashville area. Jump right in, the water's fine.

The only treatment is to buy more hammock stuff and hang out in the woods. There is no known cure. Welcome to the forums from SC.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

I, like you, am new to hammocking and infected. Besides a hammock, my first purchase was an underquilt. After the first time I used it, I can say, unequivocally, " I will never dwell on the ground again." Treat the symptoms with diy anything, new gear, and relaxation.

Man, can I relate to this! My wife is "surprising" me with a WBBB & I just placed an order for a WL tarp & skins, & some Dutch gear... Before the hammock is even here! I want to be able to try it out the first night it's here (plus it needs to be dialed in for a late-april weekend trip)!

Trying to refrain myself from getting a UQ until I've tried out a bad. I keep finding myself at the "submit payment now" screen!
