I initially came to the site for information but stayed for the people. HF members are so inovative and have inspired me to look at everyday items differently. I love the sense of community on HF and the generosity of the members. I also appreciate the members' sense (senses?) of humor. I can always count on the site for at least one good laugh a day. Between the laughs and the hammock in the woods, I'm pretty happy!
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

With all of the forums I have been a part of, this is the only one where I feel comfortable with my children reading over my shoulder. Not to mention when I meet the people on here in real life, I have nothing but wonderful things to say, and great times together. Where else can you find someone to take along on a family hike?!

Great carvings. The people on HF are what keeps me coming back. Nowhere else can you find someone who makes a product to sale that will help you make copies of that product for your own use. Thanks to all.

I remain a fan due to my obsession with modifying and tinkering with my hammock setup to make my camping experience better. Browsing the forums is also a fun pass-time for me. Unfortunately given my busy schedule on weekends I probably spend more time on the forums than in my hammock camping...that and the Minnesota winters.
    Camping is fun!

I really can't improve on what has already been said so eloquently by everyone else. It is the people, and for the life of me I can't explain it, why this forum is so full of friendly, helpful, generous (not to mention smart and funny, sometimes wacky!) people, and other forums also dedicated to a common interest so often turn nasty. What is it about hammocks that either attracts such great people, or brings out the best in us?

And that is a gorgeous spoon!
