Pole Config for Winter Dream 12 Tarp

Anyone modded their WD12 with the two pole setup yet? Looking for pole lengths if you know- thanks in advance!

We sure can provide them if some one would like them. They are not cheap once you figure parts, shipping, and minor charge to assemble.

Sent an email with other questions but how much would the 2 poles add to the cost. You guys are one of the few to use Orange 1.1 as an option.

Also any chance a tarp could be made from the orange 1.1 instead of black or olive?

We do have access to Tangerine Silnylon, the 1.1 fabric we use for quilts would not be a suitable fabric for a tarp. We would need to order in the correct fabric but it is available, we replied to your email with a more detailed response. For Easton Expedition Grade Pole the cost is $45/pole assembled with stuff sack to be shipped with tarps.

Are those fiberglass poles or carbon fiber? I'm partial to carbon fiber and am willing to pay extra. I am going to purchase a new tarp before this fall and hoping for a winter tarp with a center pole only.

Those prices are for alum but we have access to CF as well. CF poles would run about $60/ea including stuff sack. CF Pole section would be 17" long, alum pole sections are 13" long.

That's perfect! I paid 50 for my last 2 sets and had to wait 3 months because I was a single order and they put me on low priority. I am more than willing to pay 10 bucks extra to get it promptly! THANKS!!

Installed on both ends these provide for a rock solid tarp in high winds. Notice location of poles in relationship to tarp panel pull outs.

Due to poles running at slight inward angle you will need to prevent pole from tipping. Add short length of cord attached to pole then ran to ridge line guy out.
What a great looking tarp and I love black because I like to sleep in.

How about offering some GG ribbon sewn on the inside at the pullouts so you could tie off the poles at two locations?
That might be better than tying at the RL.

Only example I have of a two ribbon attachment but hopefully you get the idea.
