My tarp suspension (as of now)

I'm constantly changing and tweaking my set up. I had a buddy ask about how I have my tarp suspension now, so I threw together this short video just to show him how. I figured I might as well put a link here in case anyone wants to check it out. If anyone has any questions, or would like more information just let me know.

Thanks to Shane for pointing me to the mini line loks. They make life easy. His thread can be found here:

Cool. Simple. Dude, you definitely bear a resemblance to The Dude in The Big Lebowski. The Dude Abides!

My only reservation about shock cord is that I've had some failures in the field. Never had a 1.75 Zing-it failure. I'm just paranoid.

Good job, and I too use Shane's style of tie outs, they work for me.

Good'n Caveman. You bringing that tarp to Georgetown? Love to see it in person.

I consider this one of the greatest compliments one could give. The Dude is my hero. Thanks!

I haven't had a failure at the shock cord (yet). I would consider it the weak link though. I have enough zing it that I could make repairs in the field if need be.

Easttex....This is the tarp I will bringing to Goodwater. You will see it...or maybe not...it's pretty good camo

Almost exactly like I string my tarp. Only difference I use a taughtline hitch after passing thru the loop instead of a halfhitch. The linelocs look pretty handy for sure...where do you get them?

I'm using 1.75mm zing it on all my lines.

The mini line loks used to be available at the hammockforum store. They can also be found at other locations online. They are easy.

Line locks rule... Caveman steered me in that direction a while back... Now I have them on everything...
