    Well you are over thinking it.. Mosquito's are attracted to birds... most of the year... so several studies put them about 30 - 50 feet up in the trees.... yes bright white does reduce the bites... so does Sawyer as it repels them.. Gin and quinine doesn't work as its watered down today...(not enough medicine to sour the sweat and blood)
