~My therapist has told me that the first step to recovery is admitting my problem, Hello I'm a Hammockolic~
Welcome to the forum! As far as a solution to your problem--all you'll find here are a bunch of fellow addicts and enablers!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I'm kc and hammocks have ceased to be a problem, thanks to this forum (and some really awesome 'enablers').
My husband took me to the 2nd Annual Florida Hang in January 2012. I spent the night in his old Speer, my first time sleeping in a hammock. When we got up in the morning, it was +20F.
I've been hooked ever since.
Welcome from NEFL, to a group of the finest people you will EVER have the pleasure of meeting!

c0wb0y84: You don't have any addiction. Because if you have an addiction then that would mean that I have an addiction and I don't have an addiction. I can quit any time I want. I just don't want to. I mean, why should I?
I'm not hooked.
I've just built my own hammock, and tarp, and bug net, and stove, and Fosters pot. And I'm about to make my own top and bottom quilts. I'm also considering a G4 backpack kit. And I only started this journey last August.
Oh crap!
