Nice pictures Jan. Love the knife.
Can you provide a little information on your trip?
    Where were you?
    How far did you go?
    How long did it take?
    What was the trap for?
I really enjoy seeing trips outside the US.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Offcourse I will:

We did a few hour trip, near Nieuwkoop, Netherlands. An area with much floating grassland, this area was used to collect turf ( to heat the houses) in the past. The trap is for muskrat, they do al lot off damage to the banks of the waters, the knife is made by a belgium knife smith, Claude Bouchonville.
The We-No-Nah solo is from Erik, weighing only 15 kg, canoeing in it is a dream! We used the Mad River as an ice breaker, on some water the ice was 12 mm thick.

Excellent pics... I love the sound of the paddle dipping in and out of the calm morning water.

There are few thing better than having a day on the water with canoes and good mates....

Looking forward to doing the same on our Spring Hang in less than a month when the ice gets of the lakes here in southern Ontario and trout season opens up!!!
