Nice looking tarp. So you put grosgrain on the ridgeline? It sure looks that way. Why is that?

    Purple Palace!!!

I figured if Brandon did it on his superflys I figured it would work for this one as well. With that said he does have a little more of a tighter weave of grosgrain then what I put on. So like I mentioned earlier that I am going to soak it with garden hose and see if there will be any leaks. For me this was all an experiment. So he will see how we'll it holds up.

That's why I was asking you how much you needed. Lol. There won't be any big prices but you have what's left. .

Just thinking out loud here, and maybe you've got this covered... But I'd put some masking tape or something just under the ridgeline on both sides of the inside of the tarp when you test so you can have a way of noticing even the slightest amount of water. From the looks of it I wouldn't expect anything more than a drop or two getting through, which would be easily seam sealed.

Great work, that looks just like my Superfly. I wish I could sew like that.

You know, I get my foot stuck in my mouth from time to time. Comes natural to me. But I do enjoy admiring the fine work that fellow HF folks do. Pretty skillful lot. Nice job Nighthauk.....that's a 5-star palace!
