    quilts diy cs apex

I made a top quilt with rip stop cs apex 2.5 and a polar fleese layer, warm but a little heavy.
I also made a combo top and under quilt made of taffeta to match my danger bird,in black and sage green, it has 5.0 of cs apex. I slept in my unheated garage last night, it got down to 40. I stayed toasty warm in a tee shirt, boxers and I kicked off my socks. Worked great, it compresses down to the size of a football.

Very nice! I just made an UQ with 5oz cs apex and going to be making a matching TQ within the next couple of weeks. Which way did you do the foot box on your TQ?

I installed some loops every 6 inches so I can lace it up. I put a draw cord in both ends and loops on all four corners ,so it can be used as a top quilt or a under quilt.
