Will this be a 'family friendly' hang? I'd be bringing the wife and the tot (not yet a brat!)

What I mean is 'will the chicks be coming along?' So my wife has someone to comment to about the guys' behavior...

Beer and Brats is family friendly, by the way.

I'm all for making it family-friendly, but my wife does not do the outdoors, at least not overnight. I'll see if she and the kids want to come by during the day on Saturday.

Fine by me. I'll have to curb the potty mouth, but it's doable.

I was thinking of bringing my family too, so that would be great if others did, I'd hate to spoil the party with my kids lol!!!

My wife doesn't go outside :-)
And I don't have any kids.
    But I'm fine with it.
I'll just have to try not to act to wild.

    Canoe tour, anybody?

Would anybody be interested in a canoe tour through the swamp on Saturday? There are free guided tours. If there is sufficient interest, I'd be happy to make the arrangements. Or we could bring canoes and just go paddling without the tour.

I have been on several canoe trips through the swamp when I was younger, its been a while but it is great fun, I would definitely be interested in doing some conoeing, if I had a canoe I would bring it, but maybe if some do have canoes we'd have enough, or maybe just rent a couple. And from my experience those guided trips book up very quickly, you have to call first thing in the morning on the day they start booking the trip, last time I tried to get in on one, I called at around 8:30am the morning they started booking and all trips were full!!

A guided canoe trip would be excellent. The web site says the tour provides canoes but I would bring my own. But I still can't say for sure that I can be there. Maybe if we are a large enough group we could arrange a "private showing". The Congaree is such a unique place I would be excited to take the tour.
