Video of our first impression of the Clark FLEX-180

We have dedicated this vid to our first impression of the Clark hammock FLEX-180. Overnight together with my son in this hammock has been a wonderful experience. We slept well. Thanks to the separate-hammocks-in-one. We fixed the tarp without a ridgeline to the whoopie slings. Temperature at night dropped to approx. 40F. We have been toasty warm with the Z-liner insulation an a little pad.

I enjoyed your video and seeing the hammock set up and some of the gear you are using. I'm sure your son liked the experience too.

Loved the video - brings back memories of some outings with my son...
I thought I was done buying hammocks. But your post made me see the possibility of a Flex 180 for me and my grandson.

    Thanks for your replies.

On behalf of the Flex-180 i hope Clark could redesign the Vertex-tarp more or less like the attached draft. It would better fit to shape of the Flex-180. I know special tarps with more width exist. But i like the Clark camo-tarps and would rather use this design if it came from Clark instead of another tarp.

You both slept warm so I guess the Z-liner is designed to cover the area under both sleeping areas. Am I correct?

Thanks for verifying this. My son used the small pad. The Z-liner is designed to cover the large hammock and half the small hammock. The half of the small hammock has been covered in case you use the Flex alone and you lie diagonally.

So.. you started a topic on the flex-180 and whoopie slings and then directed us here. Unless I am missing something.. there is no useful information to be found here about the use of whoopie slings with the flex.
