For the lid of a heine pot I use either the lid off of the lifesaver mints or the round altoid sours tins.

ok... I need to show my ignorance. I am assuming the "heine pot" is a beer can pot... but just exactly which can and how big is it? I'm not sure I see the value in a pot that's a cut down 12 oz beer can. Even as heavy duty as the hiene cans are.

hehe... I should have waited... never mind

Now I'd need to find someone to help me drink the beer. For a Babdis clergy that is not always an easy thing to do.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Its the Heineken Mini Keg. It looks like a little keg, best way to describe it. It works best with alcohol stoves due to the curvature of the bottom which helps keep it centered on the supports for my Starlyte. I don't cook in my pots much these days and only need to boil water, so the benefits are SUL weight savings and a more stable heating container for my water.

I have read some where that to make the altoid tin lid seal tight around the top some people will use on of the silicone bracelets around the rim.

the only thing i found readily available that fits a heiny pot is a lid from Wilson tennis balls. they fit snugly.
