Ok, so here is my situation...I have both the WBBB and the Traveler with the bug net. Both have their advantages. I like the simplicity of the Traveler and the option to use the bug net when conditions warrant it but I feel I get a better/more comfortable lay with the WBBB. So what I am thinking about is removing the attached bug net from the WBBB and then using the bug net from the Traveler when necessary. Essentially it turns the WBBB into a WBBB XLC without the extra length. Also when using the Traveler bug net with the WBBB I would have the freedom to be able to reach over the sides of the hammock to make adjustments to my quilt. That becomes a challenge withe the WBBB when you have the bug net incorporated into the hammock.
Has anyone removed their bug net from the WBBB? Was it difficult? Did it/would it compromise the integrity of the hammock. Thoughts? Feedback?
Honored to be among other hangers.
