Yay! Another new forum to join! New guy in Memphis.

    First the details...
    Brad
    32/m
    Regional IT Manager
    2 kids (son 9, daughter 11)
    Avid runner/beginner triathlete

I have a bit of (ok, a LOT) of adult ADD symptoms, just ask any of my friends.

I've recently gotten my first motorcycle (actually, 2 of them within a month) and want to get into some motorcycle-hammock camping. What 2 bikes? Glad you asked... 08 Ninja 250R is my commuter, and my project bike is a 1993 VFR750F.

After seeing the ENO double nest in the Rock/Creek store in Chattanooga last weekend, my gf and I have been talking about getting a bigger hammock. Our first was just a 1 person, canvas hammock that stays in our backyard. I saw on Woot the other day that they had a Yukon Outfitters "double" hammock for $25 shipped, so why not!

Just got it yesterday and looking forward to learning some tips and tricks from all y'all Pros! I'm also a bit of an AW, so once I get this figured out, there will certainly be pics.

I messed up and didn't have my Subscriptions set right (thanks for the crappy default VBulliten)...

My finishing time was actually 1:21:07. They did a time trial start....

Welcome to the addiction from SC. From the foot photo, it looks like you need to get more of a diagonal lay. I highly recommend getting the book "The Ultimate Hang" and attending a group hang. The book is a primer for hammock hanging and the group hang is fun and you get to meet great people and see all kinds of cool gear.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

It amazes me (in a great way) to see how serious everyone takes hammocks.

After i took the pic, I realized that I was flexing my legs a bit. Once I put the phone down, I settled in and got comfy. Plus I figured out that hanging both feet out, makes the sides stand up straight and block the sun out of my face.
