I just want to add some extra information. In ancient periods kings and their ministry, used hammocks while outing for relaxation and to get rid from any dangerous insects. The earliest hammocks were woven from the bark of the Hamak tree. The hammocks designs and materials transformed gradually over years. The most common material was cottons. In those times, fashionable hammocks were not known. They only hanged big cloth with 2 separate points and sleep on it. After time to time the modification of those cloths changes its dimension and nowadays we got different types of modern hammocks for comfort.
