    New Member from Sunny Fl.

    I've been a dormant outdoor enthusiast for the past 15 or so years. My son recently got involved with the Boy Scouts and I came out of my corporate induced "city life" and decided to get back to what makes me happy. Camping!

    I was online looking at gear like most camping gear heads do and I somehow came across Shug's video series for "hammock noobs" and needless to say, I am now a card carrying, praise singing, member of the church of hammocks!

    The amount of information on this site is amazing. In a few short months I have gone from being a ground dweller to full fledged hanger! Thank you to all of you and I hope that I can soon join / meet some of you for a FL HF Hang. (I missed the last one due to a scout camping trip).
