Hmmmm.... Maybe I will need to call Ruta Locura then. I seem to recall that carbon fiber poles are great with compression longwise, but don't handle side to side flexing all that well..... Sounds like this is at least a viable option for me.

I feel a group buy coming on....anyone interested? Maybe we could bring the price down a bit. I am in if we could get it going. A five ounce savings is quite a bit and I like the idea of four sections instead of five.

I asked about a volume discount when I purchased these, and actually bought 2 sets. Josh explained to me that he had close to 60 bucks in the CF before doing any work at all.
It was pleasure dealing Ruta Locura by the way.

If you do a group buy I am in. Would love to shave some weight from my RR. Be nice to get rid of that middle section as well since I am sure I will lose it eventually.

Apparently group buys are not available as per above post. I ordered mine the other day. I think it's worth it. Plus...if I don't deserve it...who does?

    Thanks for confirming.

This is definitely something I'm interested in. Can anyone summarize the exact specs sent so that others can replicate to ensure we get the same thing?
