Cinch Buckle Decision

Im looking at swapping out my woopie slings for a cinch buckle suspension. Im finding that Im too limited with the woopie slings in tree selection and am willing to pay the weight penalty for ease of setup.

Im looking at the cinch buckles from DutchGear and from Arrowhead Equipment.

Anybody have any suggestions or comments on the differences between the two and how well they work?

Can't really help you with the difference between the two and I am sure that they are both excellent. One thing to consider is if you need a full suspension system or just the buckles. I have both types on different hammocks and they seem to work equally well.

I do have some "Dutch-Bling" and love it so, if that counts for anything...

Also, I have this from Warbonnet...http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/adj...ng-suspension/ and it seems to work fine as well.

I have the ones from Dutch and have used them many times. I weigh 300 and they have never slipped in any kind of weather. I doubt I'll ever use any thing else. I tried several different suspensions including whoopies before settling on these. I never tried AHE or any others. Hope that helps.

I went from cinch buckle to whoopies, and now back to cinch buckle. Cinch buckles just work better for me. The Dutch version is the best I have used, no experience with the Arrowhead version.

I have the AHE buckles and am awaiting arrival of a second set today for my Clark I am swapping out my descender rings that can slip a bit if not properly backed up. Have em still buying more, that sums it up.

I just got my first pair of cinch buckles. I chose the ones from Dutch because...the are from Dutch and it is cool to get a package that says "contains Dutch bling"! They arrived in the mail on Friday.

I had Whoopies on my HH. Got a WBBB with Web and buckles. Love it. Had Brandon make up a set for my HH and replaced the whoopies. Easy to use and adjust.

I use the ones from Warbonnet, which look just like the Arrowhead ones but are $10 cheaper. Never tried the Arrowhead buckles so I can't compare, but I love my Warbonnet ones. So simple to use and infinitely adjustable (I switched from the old ENO slapstrap pros).
